Furthermore I feel that the concepts I have, in particular my biomimicry process is not as sound as I once felt it was. I think my interim design has lost some of the elements of my concept Perception and formed more of a concept on layers which was not my intention. Again the biomimicry process of filters in the natural world does not feel quite so resolved as an imitation of a particular natural process and needs to be more resolved before it is incorporated into my design. Perhaps I need to look back through my design development to see if there are any more primary ideas which could strengthen my overall concept and biomimicry process.

Week 9 | Presentation Reflection
After presenting my draft proposal and viewing my peers presentations in Week 9, I have decided that the most difficult task to date has been developing a very strong and clear design concept. Additionally explaining my ideas, concepts and developments is also something I believe I struggled with during the presentation. I have found that there are ideas in my mind which I have inadequately mentioned how they all link together. Even while the concepts may be very clear and synthesised in my mind the viewer of my presentation indeed even the users of my building may have difficulty understanding and connecting and this is something I realised I will need to work for project 3.

Hi Cody,
ReplyDeleteAll the aspects you talked about up there are exactly right. I will be happy to discuss with you about it in the coming tutorial. I am very happy seeing that you have developed such a strong analytical mind and being able to view design critically. It is a great leap from what I could see in your project 1.
After all, I can tell you that you did a very good job for this stage of the project. Please keep it up. I know you can do even better!
Cheers,
Yvonne
